ABERDEEN — Homecare Services of South Dakota, Inc., a private agency committed to providing expert advice and specialized care to those who want to remain living independently at home, has opened a new office in Aberdeen. Homecare Service’s team of nurses, caregivers, and administrative staff offer a full range of in-home support services throughout South Dakota and into Minnesota.
“Homecare Services has been considering the Aberdeen area over the course of the last two years,” said Steven Novotny, Agency Director, said. “We have received a number of inquiries from the Aberdeen community from individuals and families looking for additional care options.”
Novotny said that the new office, located at 701 North 4th Street, Suite 425 in Aberdeen, will begin hiring and training staff over the next six months to meet the needs of their customers. He added that they plan to create 25 to 30 new jobs in the region by this time next year.
Initially, the Aberdeen office will serve residents of Brown County, but Novotny plans to expand their services to surrounding counties and communities once Homecare Services becomes well-established in Aberdeen.
“Homecare Services will offer the Aberdeen market high-quality, in-home care and support services which have been cultivated from a South Dakota grown company providing services for more than 30 years,” Novotny said. “Aberdeen is a vibrant, progressive community with an overwhelming sense of pride for their city, and Homecare Services is excited to be a part of it.”
